INTRODUCTION The Crown Institute was opened in 2000 as a facility dedicated to excellence in clinical care through research and education. The Crown was co-founded by Dr. M. Schwartz and Dr. B. Freund who run an active research program as well as train other physicians. We provide non-surgical approaches to facial rejuvenation as well as treat headache, neck pain, temporomandibular disorders (jaw pain) and hyperhidrosis (excess sweating). Drs. Freund & Schwartz have pioneered the treatment of some of these conditions with Botulinum toxin A or BOTOX (the registered trademark of Allergan, Inc. of Irvine, California). We are located just east of White's Road on the north side of Kingston Road in Pickering. Parking is provided behind our building.
